Thought for Today

I see this angel on my walk every morning. If I were a thief this is what I would steal. She is so beautiful. Especially in the early morning light. She has great TEXTURE from being exposed to the elements for so long. She's old--not some new creation made in China that you can  buy at WalMart. I guess she's what you call architectural salvage. Anyway, I usually stop and take her in on my walk. The neighbors probably think I am a stalker. Too bad, I have to have time with her. What is she looking at? Does she see the same things that I see? Is she longing for spring and something new to gaze at? Is she happy and content with her plot in life?  Here's to hoping that everyone has something beautiful to look at as they go about their day.
